Experience

Walnut Lake Advisors was founded by Jon C. Doehr. Jon has more than 20 years of financial and strategic analysis experience, including 12 years as a mergers and acquisitions banker. His deal experience includes sell-side advisory, buy-side advisory, strategic alternatives analysis, management buyouts, and fairness opinion and valuation engagements for publicly and privately held entities.

Prior to forming WLA, Mr. Doehr served as a Director in the financial services investment banking group at KPMG Corporate Finance, led the mergers & acquisitions practice for Manchester Companies and also worked as an investment banker for Greene, Holcomb & Fisher. Earlier in his career, he worked in commercial banking for Merrill Lynch and Michigan National Bank, and also worked in public accounting for Coopers & Lybrand.

Representative Transaction Experience

Mr. Doehr has experience working on sell-side transactions for a variety of companies including Surety Company of the Pacific, LAI International, Tricord Systems, Deluxe Corp. and Imation Corp. Acquiring companies on his deals include HCC Insurance Holdings, High Street Capital, 3M, Spell Capital Partners and Crestmark Bank.
